Sergio Saucedo is a registered architect, educator, and designer based in New York City. He is focused on building a collaborative, multidisciplinary, and community-centered practice that prioritizes early childhood education, public spaces, community spaces, and environments for cultural and civic engagement. His goal is to champion community-driven design by crafting spaces that not only inspire connection and creativity but also empower individuals to engage with their environment in meaningful ways, fostering a sense of ownership and collective identity.

With more than 15 years of experience, Sergio has worked with several award-winning and internationally renowned architecture and design firms including Weiss/Manfredi, ORE Design + Technology, Situ Studio, and TEN Arquitectos. His experience includes a wide range of project typologies including residential, commercial, cultural, academic, office/incubator, urban renewal, urban farms, market spaces, and digital design fabrication. During his ten year experience working with Weiss/Manfredi in New York, he made significant design contributions to several projects and competitions, most recently as a senior project architect for the recently completed West Conservatory building of the Logwood Gardens Revitalization project in Kennett Square, PA.

Sergio received a Bachelor of Architecture at the University of Texas at Austin in 2010, where he was was honored with the Mebane Traveling Scholarship twice and also pursued a residency at TEN Arquitectos in Mexico City. During his studies, he was also fortunate to have his work featured in several publications and exhibitions, including the Anhangabaú Exhibit at Escola da Cidade in São Paulo, Brazil in 2009, and the 2008 ACADIA Conference at the University of Minnesota.

Sergio is an adjunct faculty professor at the New York City College of Technology School of Architecture, and has previously taught at the New York Institute of Technology School of Architecture. He has served as a guest lecturer and guest critic at Pratt Institute, Parsons School of Design, NYU Gallatin School, City College of New York School of Architecture, and NYIT School of Architecture.
